Needham, MA, December 18, 1997 –- CareMatrix Corporation (AMEX:CMD) today announced the appointment of Joyce Simard as Vice President of Alzheimer's and Special Programs. Ms. Simard brings to the position over 19 years of professional experience working with the senior population, inclusive of her recent tenure with Marriott International, Senior Living Services as National Director of Alzheimer's and Special Programs. Prior to Marriott International, she held positions with Manor HealthCare Corporation, The Hillhaven Corporation, and ARA Living Centers.
