TO FILE ITS ANNUAL REPORT FORM 10-K

Needham, MA, April 17, 2000 – CareMatrix Corporation (NASDAQ: CMDC), a fully integrated assisted living company announced that it is completing the audit of its financial statements, and expects to file the Company’s annual report on Form 10-K for 1999 next week.  The Company previously announced that it had filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission a notification to extend the time for filing to April 14, 2000.
